When can I view public records?

Under normal circumstances public records are available for inspection and copying during normal business hours of the district, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding legal holidays, at 601 N. Evergreen Rd. Records must be inspected at the offices of the district.

The district finds that maintaining an index of all existing district records would be unduly burdensome and would interfere with the district operations due to the nature of the district’s work, the relatively small number of staff, and the historic organization of the district’s records. The classification of the district’s documents, the ease of access based on the type of document, and the substantial additional costs to the district’s customers if an extensive cross-reference index was developed, does not justify the implementation of an index system.
