Why is my bill so high?

There are many factors that can contribute to a high-cost bill. One thing to keep in mind is the time of year - December and August are typically the highest bills of the year due to heating and air conditioning. If you are a water customer, excess water is only billed once per year, and this typically shows up on your September or October bill. Additionally, the number of days between meter reads could be a factor. Our goal is to read the meter every 30 days, but this can vary depending on weekends and holidays.
