Water Information

A mechanical and plumbing plan must be submitted and approved by Vera Water and Power before service can be furnished. At time of completion, the plans and the site will be inspected for actual and/or potential cross-connections in accordance with WAC-248-54-500 through WAC 248-54-740 and Vera Water and Power's resolution pertaining to cross-connection control.

New service engineering and design fees

Vera's engineering fee schedule can be found on our 2025 Engineering Fees for New Services page. Each new construction service request will be charged a non-refundable fee for design and engineering services. The charge for engineering and design fee will be collected in advance of the work being scheduled or performed and include the actual cost including labor, equipment and supplies.

A complete up-to-date site plan must be provided to Vera Water and Power throughout the project. Your site plan must show, at a minimum, the locations of all civil improvements including driveways, swales, building outlines, and existing and/or nearest utilities. Plans must be scaled and show north arrow, lot boundaries and proposed meter and/or service entrance location(s).
