Electric safety demo in our community

Yesterday, Aug. 15, 2023, we had the opportunity to bring the joy of learning and electric safety to the children and families of Pope Francis Haven Apartments in the Spokane Valley. It was a real privilege to engage with the community and share our interactive program, PowerTown, which aims to foster awareness and understanding of staying safe around electricity.
At Vera Water and Power, one of our core values is the safety and well-being of our community. We genuinely enjoy bringing PowerTown to various community groups, not only to educate but also to demonstrate the importance of staying safe in the electrified world we live in.
With PowerTown, we utilize fun and educational activities to teach children and families the vital safety measures when interacting with electricity. From understanding the dangers of electrical hazards to learning how to avoid them, our program actively promotes safe practices and empowers individuals of all ages. Together, we can ensure a safer and brighter future.
We are grateful for our recent collaboration with Catholic Charities Eastern Washington and the team at Pope Francis Apartments. Their warm welcome and enthusiasm made the event even more memorable. We appreciate their dedication to creating a safe environment for their community members.
If you would like to experience PowerTown and bring this educational program to your own community group, we invite you to check it out here. There, you will find all the information you need to request a visit and embark on an electrifying learning adventure with PowerTown.
Remember to use the hashtags #PowerTown and #SafeElectricity when sharing your experiences on social media. We would love to see your excitement and the impact PowerTown has on your community!
Thank you for being an essential part of our mission to promote electric safety and empower our community. Together, we can create a safer and brighter future for all
