Weatherization rebate form

Weatherization residential project information form

This form includes insulation, windows/patio doors, exterior insulated doors.

This measure is available for existing, electrically heated, single-family, and manufactured homes within Vera Water and Power’s service territory.

Homeowners must comply with all applicable codes and regulations. Rebate not to exceed cost on invoice.

REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS

Insulation

  • Attic – original insulation R-19 or less, final R-value R-38 or greater.
  • Under Floor – original insulation R-19 or less, final R-value R-30 or greater.
  • Wall – original insulation R-0, final R-value R-11 or greater.
    • Wall insulation must be installed in exterior walls only. Interior walls do not qualify.
  • Non-living spaces (i.e. garages, shops, etc.), additions, and new construction do not qualify.
  • Equipment or contractor invoice showing:
    • Submit before and after photos of space showing original and final R-value measurements. Photos must show depth gauge or ruler in insulation.
    • Completed Certificate of Insulation documenting pre and post R-values and square footage of installed insulation (normally provided by contractor or listed on the invoice).

Windows/Patio Doors

  • Replacement windows must have a NFRC U-Factor of .30 or lower
  • Replacement patio doors must have a NFRC U-Factor of .35 or lower
  • Pre-existing windows must be single-pane with any frame or double-pane in metal frame only
    • New, double-pane, vinyl frame windows replacing pre-existing double-pane vinyl windows do not qualify.

Exterior Insulated Door

  • Must be Energy Star Certified
  • Must replace an uninsulated exterior door.
  • Must be a pre-hung door with a threshold.
  • Multifamily mid-or high-rise homes do not qualify.

All warranties are offered through the manufacturer not the utility, whether expressed or implied, regarding the product(s) listed above for any materials or labor associated with installation, maintenance, repair, or any energy savings associated with use. Rebate offer(s) apply to new product(s) only. Utility reserves the right to inspect installed product(s). Product(s) must meet all program criteria to qualify for rebate(s).
